Bloody hell, it is going to be tough for Barcelona to accept their offer from Chelsea.

And where did you get information from, AB?

But I knew it when Mourinho was there watching him the other night.
He would put a bid in for him.

I know u can't read that but that's where I read it from. If Chelsea get Ronaldinho then I'm afraid Chelsea will dominate both England and Europe for a long time.

Translate that webpage then AB if you can read it.  I tried Google's translator but it doesn't cater for whatever that language is.

Basicaly what its saying is that Chelsea have increased their bid from 30 million Euro to 86 million. The rest I don't feel like translating.

i think an american sports capping system wont be far off in the future.
even america who worship cash and the greed is good mantra have an infrastructure put in place to stop teams buying success. they know if the likes of bill gates or the fella who owns nike or boeing etc wanted to they could buy success a la abramovitch so every club has a certain amount of money to spend each year on transfers and wages.
they realise lack of competition would eventually ruin sports.
i heard that movers and shakers in the corridors of power in fifa are worried that champions league attendances aren`t great in many fixtures because fans think the results are predictable.
a level playing field would help increase competition.

Champions League fixtures are predictable for the most part, it used to be exciting but now it's just "win it so we can get more money".
