But what about the captain?

Wheres he been the last 2 league games, infact where was he in the away match at old trafford or the derby?

The saviour's above critisism though isn't he.

If that was me, i'd do what Houllier done last time and embarress him again. He walking arond the pitch playing garbage. When things aren't going your way you captains meant to drag you through or lead by example. Gerrard's doing nothing at the moment.

Its not just the spanish lads, apart from Alonso all the spanish lads are complete b0ll0cks.
But saying that most of the team are ******, that includes the non spanish players

Gerrard has been off parr for a few matches, a players form has to dip occasionally. But the lad has carried this team for two seasons - it is bound to take its toll.

We were really poor today. I remember Man U getting beat there 6-2 or something a few years ago. I went to Upton Park and saw us get hammered 4-1 with a GOOD side, Ince got a couple and a poor West Ham team had a field day. Coventry beat us 4-1 or something when we had a GOOD side. We went about 10 league games on the bounce last season without a win.
My point? it and sh!t happens. We're clearly not playing well at the moment but we ARE decimated by injuries. I know some will say "It doesn't matter, we still had enough quality to beat Southampton" and they're right but we didn't. At the end of the day people can rant and rave all they like but Rafa is the right man for the job, he isn't going anywhere and most of his signings will prove to be shrewd in my view.
Oh and one last thing, I'll let you into a little secret. Steven Gerrard is quite a good player y'know. I know he didn't play well today and I know that David Prutton did, wouldn't swap 'em though would ya? He's not deliberately going through the motions. He may be offski at the end of the season but right now, he's not fit and not playing well. It happens to the best of 'em y'know.

2 bad games, when he's clearly carrying an injury. What are you suggesting Stu? That we drop him to the bench, and that Rafa publicly announces that despite 7-8 out of our 11 players doing nothing today Steven Gerrard will not play until he returns to form.

He's had a poor week but he's still been far and away our most influential player this season.

bigmick sensible post but a touch too defensive. i though we are the better side (on paper) but with players not showing any commitment, effort and pride we deserve to get beat and no more.

not too sure about stevie though. if he is injured, offkey or plainly going through the motion after having his membership to the russian mob approved etc...he should be drop just like everyone else. no one player is indispensable.

only garcia prevented stevie from being our worst player on the pitch today (too early to past judgement on pelle). don't know about you but i am all but given up on garcia at the moment. just too p1ssed poor to even being considered for the reserve, and i'm not saying he is off form or anything but his wastefulness is a liability we can't afford. why oh why a player being paid such high salary can't exercise a bit of their grey matter? he should know fancy tricks don't work and he's being robbed off the ball far too often yet he continue to make the same mistake game after game, over and over again? shouldn't rafa or another senior player give him a good kick up his @ss?

...and how would you know another coach might be good for their current club but not good for us? should we hire big sam or alan curbishly, both of whom didn't enjoy the best of season so far. who would you suggest we hire instead of rafa?

You are crazy!!!

RAFA IS THE RIGHT MAN FOR THIS JOB!!

Did you know that Alex Ferguson didn't even win any trophies nearly 4 years before he took Man Utd back to glory and he proved Man Utd fans wrong that he can do it.

Why can't you give Rafa a chance?

This is getting crazy that gloryhunters want to get rid of Rafa!! This is a absolutely madness!!!

The True Scousers always be patient about Rafa, that means we have our faiths in Rafa.

If you don't like it, then clear off and go support Chelsea!
