Alan hansen - New manager

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I know it's unrealistic but what would you think if Alan Hansen became the next Liverpool manager, I think it would be a great move, he is as honest as eva, and seems to be clued up on the tactics side of things, and a former Liverpool legend who could command respect from the players.

Only if he could bring himself to get off his fat a#se.

Alan Hansen has admitted time and time again that he has no desire to become a football manager. He would be good, I agree, but there is no chance. All Alan wants is to be perched in his chair doing Match of the Day.

Relax dude  ???

Hansen was the popular choice when Dalglish left, but he turned the job down, saying that he wasn't interested in management.

Rumours started again when Souness left, but again hansen laughed off reports.

He might have made a great manager....he was an exceptional player. Also, look at the great (admittedly short term) job that Trevor Brooking did at West Ham.
