I was wondering if any of you nice Scousers could help me!! A few years ago, my mate and his dad had season tickets at Anfield and occasionally, when his dad couldn't go, I went instead as Liverpool are my second team and I'll cheer them on(as long as they aren't playing Bolton!!)
Anyway, before each match started(I think it was around 1997/98 season) they played a tune over the tannoy which I really liked which was just basically an instrumental with a few guitar riffs and a good melody, and I'm sure that I have also heard it elsewhere. I have been a few times to Anfield over the recent years, but have never heard this tune since back then. I remember my mate saying that it was played before every match that season so I was wondering if any of you who go to the matches can recall it and tell me what it is called.
