Saucy Sue from aigburth, maybe??
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Leon, Well said mate! Any way returning to the original thrust - I don't think we have a bed of roses lying out there ready to climb on to. In my opinion the foundations for a great side are far from in position. I think and probably so also does Rafa, that there are a few more personnel changes required before we are truely on our way. Some of the current crop may survive in a supporting role, but I fear that the basis of a star team for the future is not yet there. At this point, I must say that I am not passing any opinion on the Spaniards as it is too early to say and I do hope Stevie G. remains an integral member of the side because he is a mega' player. I fear that Cisse will, like Heskey not fully unveil his true potential, but again maybe too early to say, However, to return to the core of the discussion, I think we need to enter this new era with a sense of realism, because the club will need our support and understanding while they traverse a difficult period of transition. Should we issue rations of idealistic but blind optimism, no we should approach the forthcoming season with a realistic view that we are my no means on our way and we still have perils to overcome. The manager and players will require our patient and sensible support through this period. :blues:

Judge, From your avatar, you don't look old enough to have been on fire for 35 years. Keep a fire extinguisher handy, you might need one this season !!

Judge, Ok, try a 'Fire Blanket' then. But don't miss the point, too much optimism will spoil the party.:p

Yeah because otherwise the threads just get clogged up with snotty nosed inadequates hurling abuse at others and never actually posting about the topic which they claim to be such experts on

The forecast about SG and Real Madrid appears to be gathering some momentum, with the latest reports of Madrid wanting SG to be a 2005 Galctico. :(  :(
