Sorry to say it but Barnes, cracking player and seems like a really nice guy but does not convince me as a manager at all.

I think the difference could be the young Liverpool players he will no doubt take on loan ,but I have a sneaking feeling Ancelotti will not find the Premiership as easy as he first anticipated ,as for Martinez I hope his brand of football flourishes and is similar to the style Swansea played ,and if that's the case I can fully see him growing in distinction in the Premiership .

I think Mowbray may be on a hiding to nothing at Celtic its just not a club you can afford to fail at ,I dont know whether his personality is big enough for such a huge club .

Tony got west brom playing some good football although he has argubaly started signing average players mostly linked with all of his players from west brom , fortunae and wanted to sign paul robinson , i think tony will do a good job there as even when west brom were in trouble he never once abadoned his philsophy and played negative football like stoke , if anyone out of the 3 who came up deserved to stay i would have hoped it would be west brom

West Brom played some nice football last season ,but his philosophy eventually relegated them ,its more a case of will Celtic afford him the time to instil his particular brand of football ,I hope so because I have a soft spot for Celtic ,and I think Mowbray's a decent fella

Carlo Ancelloti for me because it is the most pressurised job out of the whole lot and he only has to let it slip a bit for him to be deemed a failure remember dolmio man last year :D .Also he can get away with negative tactics in Italy and win you won't in EPL.He may be a success given time to adjust but will he get that at Chelsea?

I don't think so

my choice as well and for the reasons than you've stated. He's only won one title in Italy as manager and with Chelsea crying out for the CL and EPL I can't see Ancelotti getting either IMO.

Mick McCarthy for me...his squad is poor and his premiership history equally so.

Good luck to Mowbray, hope he can improve things up north in one season...

He's not on there RBG , but i predict that Mark Hughes will be first sacked when Man city fail at the start of the season .. They'll win a couple of home games 6 -0 or something then the wheels will fall off . Mark my words mark.

He's not a new manager ,or a manager that's been promoted fella,
but I don't rate Hughes as a manager either and I think he will need a shed load of valium to deal with the mercenaries he has infested his team with .

The thing with Bruce is he has this uncanny ability to find and nurture players who at first are unknown quantities ,and develop them into 10 million plus players ,ie  Palacios and Valencia .
