A frightened little man - Mourinho

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby RED BEERGOGGLES » Wed Apr 27, 2005 11:51 pm

If tonight wasnt the speech of a man refusing to accept the inevitable I clearly know nothing about human nature .
Mourinho was clearly rattled once more by this war of attrition  and the simple fact that Liverpool refused to move aside is giving the little Gypsy  an ulcer .
The man has no class and less grace and it will be an honour to watch the Reds destroy his hopes of selling Abramovic a fairy tale .
I certainly expected more than a stinging rebuke to Liverpool’s fans  about how we shouldn’t take a victory for granted,  99.9% will applaud loudly Mourinho's fall from the pedestal he's built for his colossal ego,  (Traore and Carragher were superb tonight bring on Tuesday )

Are you sure that your not becoming part of the 99.9% of the very people that Mourinho was talking about? The same people you want to avoid becoming..

I wouldn't write off Maurinho just yet as despite him being petulant and outspoken, he is still a great coach and we do not have the creativity and strike power of Chelski at this moment in time, especially with Alonso suspended in the return game.

The lads should practice penalty kicks just in case as the burden of favourites is still very much on Chelski.

I think he's a bit concerned considering things doesn't go his way last night.he's definitely trying to console himself by claiming tat 99.9% of Reds fans already thinking we in the Finals n the pressure is on us.****** !! we hav no fear of taking Chelsea in the 2nd leg n they are the one who should feel the pressure.don't Mourinho knows how good our home form is especially in CL ??

The pressure is definitely on them because they are the team with loadsamoney, team depth with so many internationals in the squad and were the favourites.

I don't believe that Liverpool will fall into this mind games as Rafa does not reply to anykind of baiting because he just prefers to dig in and let the results speak for themselves. I just hope a rampant Liverpool will turn up for the return leg at Anfield.

They were the words of someone who was disapointed and was trying to cover it up while simultaneously trying to put pressure on us.

Don't bite the bait. I know Rafa won't.

Chelsea is by far the favourites and they are feeling it and being disappointed because they can't break us down. They are the ones with a couple of hundred million worth of talent and they are under pressure to justify that spending.

Go Liverpool, get one or two goals at Anfield and close down the game. If we find rampant form, I wouldn't mind either. Heck, if we win 2-1 with all the goals coming from us (plus own goal), I will still take this victory...I'd take any victory as long as we win.

even if we win 1-0, Ms Maureen will still come out and say we are the one that's under-pressure, and that his team are the favourite...of course he will say that, for his and his team's sake. And of course he is under pressure for he, the "special one" bragged a lot before the season starts with a team built on £210M+ worth of mercenaries.

When we beat Laverkusen 3-1, some here said the away goal scored by BL will ultimately KO us...but we prevailed by gaining another 3-1 win. Same with Juventus. When we win the 1st leg, everyone expect us to simply fall aside to the all-mighty Juve...but we frustrate them all night and they resort to playing more like Wimbledon than a serie-A leader. Now it's the same old story...however you want to slice it, going into a winner-takes-all match on even score with home ground advantage and capacity crowd roaring us on, if that is still not in our favour, I don't know what is ???

C'mon you reds...time to take back our rightful place...as the CHAMP OF EUROPE!!!

makes me laugh that chelski are pretending they aren't gutted about the result....have yuo heard Joe Cole's rant?  almost like some little kid

"There's no way that they're favourites and we're every bit as much in this game as them"

boo hoo, tell someone who cares Joe, you boys blew your home tie and you will now need to put one over a liverpool team who are going to be up for it at Anfield.....make no mistake people, they are rattled!

boo hoo, sob sob............  FK OFF YOU CHELSEA BABIES!

I hat Chelsea almost as must as I hate Scumchester, Leeds & Neverton.

Maureen's under pressure alright, he knows if he doesnt land Roman the European Cup he could be out on his ar$e. I hope we win this trophy, can you imagine, 5 (FIVE) times winners.

Then Roman decides he'd rather play Scaletrix, pumps his money into F1 and pulls it out of Chelsea.
The club can't afford the huge wage bill, sell their best players.
Liverpool buy Guddnonesense and bench the fcker on the Reserve team bench.

But did you see hear his comment about the problems in his squad with injuries - nearly p****d myself laughing at that point.
