O'Sullivan has not been playing anywhere near as good as he did in the semi against Hendry and hes still hammering Carter!
Looks like theres only one outcome,O'Sullivan to win with frames to spare.
I cant see Carter getting back into it now!

1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Well in Ronnie!

He's possibly the most exciting (not the best, mind you) player it's ever been my pleasure to watch.... even more fun than Jimmy White in his heyday.

But the lad does seem to have a couple of screws loose up there!  :D

Quit? Yup, John.... he's threatened that before..... but you're right... He'll be back next year...

onya rocket!

con the lad's dad is in prison for armed robbery, not exactly the pleasants of upbringings so maybe that's why he goes off the rails from time to time. the world of snooker needs ronnie o'sullivan though. you never know what's gonna happen with him. true genius with a cue in his hand (left or right) when he's on form and completely off his rocket (get it, nudge nudge) when his head is on other things.

next year will be boss though. i saw the names of those who have to qualify for dropping out the top 16. Doherty, Mark Williams, Steve Davis, Stephen Lee, Matthew Stevens as well as those like Jimmy White, John Parrott and the new breed like Liang and Lui. Also there's the quality players like Ian McCulloch Rory McCleoud, Gerard Greene, Dominic Dale, Jamie Cope, Michael Holt, Barry Hawkings and Tom Ford (hit a 147 in a tournament a while back but it wasn't on a televised match the poor sod) who will have to qualify

provisional rankings Look how far down the rankings Jimmy White is. Maybe time for the whirlwind to give up.

best player I've ever seen would have to be Hendry at his best. O'Sullivan could be, but he's not been consistant enough throughout his career. Davis is obviously up there, but Hendry's break building was superb. He could win frames in one visit that no other player could in my opinion.

You're right on both counts there John.....

Snooker does need Ronnie.... A true genius even if he is a little flawed. When he gets in the zone, he's an absolute joy to watch at work. Remember vividly my jaw hitting the ground when he did the max break in record time at the crucible. It was as if he didn't even need to plan! Everything seemed to flow naturally that you could be forgiven to think that he was lucky. But he's done it so many times that you simply have to take luck out of the equation when ronnie does he thing. Sheer brilliance.

Also agree that the best I've ever seen would have to be Hendry too. The complete package. 'Nuff said really.

What about the most boring, mate? Has to be bleedin' Peter Ebdon for me. He puts me to sleep most times.

unlucky Trump, he's been class throughout the whole tourney, snooker's future it seems
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
