What is tennis?

Its that fascinating sport where two people stand opposite end of a lane of grass with a net in the middle.

They then use a bat with strings in it to volley a ball over the net in the middle in a hope to get the ball past the other player.

The opposing player then has to try to stop the ball going past him and try to hit the ball on return to achieve the same aim.

All in all it can turn into one boring, depressing, brain numbing contest that can, as has been seen, become the capital T in tedious.

.......................and the bbc floods bbc2 with it from 12.00-20.00 and highlights after 22.00, while getting as much of it as they can on other channels.

In the event that Murray person is playing at a time not convenient to the bbc schedule, they put it on bbc1 and put all the bbc1 programmes on bbc2 and cancel/postpone bbc2 scheduling. Why don't they just put it on bbc2?!?!?!? (well actually not at all would do nicely)

I wonder how many people died during the course of this particular waste of time. Were the two players equally great or equally poor?
