New York for me, or maybe Paris. Or maybe some tiny little Greek island whose name I can't rememeber. Ah whatever it all depends what kind of mood you're in

Just got back from a week in Somerset - anyone who has never been to Exmoor (Devon/Somerset border) is missing out. It's just feckin incredible. I've been the length and breadth of England more times that I've had hot dinners but Exmoor never fails to teake my breath away. Drinker's paradise as well, boozers everywhere

Never been to Tunisia, but 40 degrees is too hot for my liking. I had it in Greece a few years back and it's a killer, 30 degrees with a nice breeze will do me fine.

Tell me about it was in Turkey two years ago in June 2nd day got sun stroke ended up in hossie for 2 days then in some shady doctors surgery for another 2 days on a drip it was 40 odd degrees you couldnt breath.
Comes out the doctors still feeling awful some Turk tries to drag me into his shop to buy a leather coat, I said its feckin 45 degrees what do I need a leather coat for just feck off, the turks a nuisances in Turkey never leave you alone for a minute spoils your holiday really.

Tunisia is damn hot, lots of sun slap, drink loads of water. If you like your food its good, the people are nice, more like Egypt than Turkey.

Best place i've been? a lot have already been said so far, but seeing the Grand Canyon was brilliant, you can never imagine how big it is, even after all the movies etc. If you go its worth your while to take a helicopter flight, you'll  wet yourself but good fun.

easy, cafe del mar aug,sep 94 before the likes of radio1 commercialised it. The best pot/music/ambiance/people/sunsets/weather etc there has ever been for me. I bought the cottage industry tapes off Jose Padilla at the time and I swear they still have the same impact. An epiffany.

We did a couple of weeks in Tunisia 3 years ago. Nearly went to Hammamet but ended up going to a place called Port El Kantoui (can't spell it). It's hot but nothing compared to Egypt where it's like having a load of hair-dryers blowing in your face when it's windy at night! Tunisia is wicked if you like to have a bit of a barter in the medina/market, i spent half my time bartering for stuff i had no intention of buying!

PS: don't get in one of them motor-bike hybrid taxi tent things. The drivers are complete nutters and they look like they are gonna fall apart!

Koh Phanang off Thailand.  Full moon beach party, October 2005.  Not necessarily the best place.  It was just a beach.  It was just the best party I've ever been to and probably ever will attend.

Was basically swimming in piss all night and getting off my head on buckets of this Thai amphetamine Rum drink which tasted of Red Bull, but the night has only ever been surpassed by Istanbul in my lifetime!!!!

If you can get yourself out there (and I know one or two people on this forum have done so) I suggest you do at least once in your life.

PS Saw Oasis at Maine Road in April 1996 when I was sixteen and Oasis were the biggest band in the world at the time.  That was some day out that!!!!

Not very exciting this...but my favourite place is the Isle Of Wight...

We moved there when I was 3 and stayed for 6 years....
It is beautiful...well I think so...
If you like swimming, like I do, there are some lovely beaches and the countryside is still very much in evidence... :D

We used to have a field of cows at the back of our bungalow....which is why I became a veggie at age 8 couldn't stand to be eatin' my friends...

My grandparents lived there too so we were still able to go for holidays when we moved back to the mainland.
But they've both passed away now...

I hope to go back and live there one day...for me it is home...

(Like everywhere the crime rate is increasing....it used to be a lil haven all on it's own....but it's still not as bad as the mainland...)

It's quiet and not hot and there is water all around....paradise!!  :)
