It seems to me to be a quick source for BS, and for annoying celebs to voice their opinion. Now yes, occasionally someone funny comes up with a masterpiece to entertain us all, but very rarely. The rest of the time its just (to me anyway) annoying and full of BS.

Or do I have it totally wrong?

There are a lot of wind up merchants and bollox on twitter. But if you follow professionals you tend to get good info.

I follow newspaper reporters and news desks. Especially football reporters/editors. Twitters best strength is the speed of breaking news.

Relatively new to Twitter myself but try to be relevant when tweeting as opposed to just telling followers I've washed my hair etc.......!  :D
