10 must be false, because it includes itself as false if it's true -an impossible paradox.

With 10 established as false, 9, which must include itself, is false too. The same goes for 8, 7 and 6.

5 is the answer as the statement doesn't include itself, and indeed 6-10 are five statements that must be false.

As you go lower in number, it still remains true, because they say "at least."

MH and Kash gets a point each.

NOTE: riddle #2 above remains unsolved. but here are more anyway


1) A pipe, a carrot, and a couple sticks are lying together in a field. Why?

2) How many times can you subtract 57 from 59632?

3) Before Mount Everest was discovered, what was the highest mountain on Earth?

4) If cat + dog = 7, and rat + mouse = 31, what does alligator + bird equal?

5) What English word has the letter "i" in it six times?

6) What five letters can you add "und" to - at the beginning and end - to create a common English word? (undund)

7) Name an English word with five consecutive vowels.

8) There is a palindrome (a word that is spelled the same forward and backwards) which is also the name of a language. What is it?

you are right on every count except #4 which is definitely wrong :rasp not because there were too little "i"s but because you answered the wrong riddle lol

the answer is "he is a muslim". i'll give Metalhead a point though he needed alot of help and clues to solve that one :p  here are the remaining riddles.

4: Is this 3 (i'm I right in thinking the use of the alphabet in their respective positions- i.e C= 3 + D = 4 Total 7.....)

5: Looking through the dictionary, I found "Indivisibility"

6: Underground

7:  I can only think of "Queuing" or do you mean consecutive AEIOU?

8: Malayalam (a friend tells me)

1:  :D  That one has to be the fact that  "the alphabet" consist of 11 leters, so true at all times.

2: He probably didn't hear his father say it.
