Wii, while a niche console and offering something different, isn't appealing to the hardcore gamer. It's lack of true AAA games is annoying, and asides from Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Galaxy, I can't see anything else worth getting the system for if you constantly want to play it. I have one, and it's gathering dust, and I'm saying this as a Nintendo fan because I grew up with them. It's great to see them do well, but it's not the best system out. Not by a mile.
The lack of AAA games is annoying, but in your list of games, add super smash brawl, that will be the best selling game for the wii without a doubt imho (and the one ill play the most, melee (one before brawl) was one of the best mutiplayers).
With all the 360/ps3 graphic talk, does it really matter? They are both powrful graphic drives, they are about on par with each other, the only real question between a 360 and PS3 are the games (and maybe the price) which is a choice between things like Metal Gear Solid 4, or Halo 3. Of corse, all the 360 only games are on the pc as well.
In all, the graphic arguement is pointless, the real arguement should be the games
