I think when it comes down to it there is no right or wrong in regards religons - its all about what people believe and then its their own choice .

exactly. I certainly think people have the right to have racist beliefs, and the right to say racist things. I do NOT think people can threaten others with violence, which sometimes happens with hate filled, race related speech. But if you want to make the claim that all ****** are a bunch of ****** go ahead. 1) all the ****** are not going to support you in any way, obviously, and 2) most decent people are also offended by hate speech and will also ostricize you, essentially kicking you out of society.

If you own a restuarant, its certainly within your rights to not allow any ******* in, which alone will hurt business because your not oppening up your store to all potential customers, but there is also a much bigger affect of a lot of people not wanting to eat in a place that would have such rules. Eventually you would go bankrupt, and restaurant owners that were less racist would profit.

I have no issue with athiests. What I find laughable is when people claim if there was no religion the world would be one big happy place where wars and violence was no more and everyone on earth would be a whole lot happier.

There is more intolerance and hatred shown towards smokers than any other sector these days

Well im one of those on off smokers - been that way since i was 18 - start then give up and so on - no currently into my 3rd month giving up and hopefully the last time i will have too but i will admit im one of those ex smokers who now really does hate the smell of smoke - makes me ill .

certainly would not be a utopia, I am not sure that people seriously claim that. But the arguement is that religion does cause harm, if you remove religion, you will remove the harm that it caused. Pretty simple logic.

I think people will always look for things that join them to others, if its not religion its sport or hobbies, fashion or politics. Maybe you wouldn't get as many deaths if we were all trainspotters ?

People (generalising) need things to believe in, either hero's or religion.
