Joe, your saying logic explains that without religion you will remove the harm.

This is untrue, without religion people will live in fear and will harm others even more.

Why? I have no religion and I harm no one, and I don't live in fear.

If you stopped believing in God would you go out tomorrow and start killing just for fun ?

Religion teaches you faith, hope and moral idiolegy. Even in the ancient Egyptian times, people believed in right or wrong through religious ideologies and from there it developed.

Back, when there was no religion (10,000 years ago), people killed each other for survival, they had no moral standards. Religion came into play and people thought to themselves ''If I do this, If I steal, then mighty Zeus will punish me''. People started fearing the Gods, the heavens, God, Allah, etc... and from there it evolved with time.

Yet some people use religion as an excuse to do a lot of bad things in the world . People will kill each whether there was religion around or not . Now there are people killing in the name of religion

Some people use anything as an excuse.. look at all the yobs now. those kids killing a deer, the post office raid leaving one dead... muggings, beatings, killings... are they religious? or are they socially based?

Or are some people just c*nts?

They actually didn't, they started to think during the neanderthal period, when they started doing proper burials and believing in spiritual nature.

Before, they didn't know what the fook they were doing :D

Neanderthals lived well over 10,000 years before the present.

That wasn't really my point though which is that it's a stretch to equate killing with an absence of morality. Clearly different civilisations have had very different moral codes (and still do), many of which have allowed for the killing of others.
