i've been thinking and reading about this a lot. its nightmarish. unimaginable the scale and scope of devestation.

i'm sure that the thoughts of the everyone on this forum are with those who are suffering and have lost loved ones in aisia.

All Premier league clubs have given £50 000 pounds each, totalling £1million as a donation.

I made a donation to the Red Cross, I urge everyone to make even a small donation - it's a very needy cause.

can i also say give to a phone line. We have een having epople in our area collecting money, and its very un-official. i knwo its kind obvious but there are some scum that are trying to make money out of this.
If everyone here gives just a tenner we can all do our bit as well.

thats right dawson , I heard the Red Cross was collecting 1 million every 2 hours from donations.

dwight yorke said every player should give upa  weeks wages, which i think is unfair for him to say personally. even tho they can all afford it, tis up to personal choice

Well said Lfc1 about the donation -I will certainly be donating all I can.Its nice to see people on here with a heart,for more than just football issues.

a close friend of my cousin was out there for a wedding as unbelievable as it sounds, thankfully he is safe but he lost his father! :(

its really quite devastating .... but there was absolutely nothing that cud have prevented it !!

imagine being on the shores of indonesia and feeling the affects of a 9.0 earthquake.

thats awful to hear dom, but i think some of the bigger clubs with the money should make a bigger donation then 50k.
just the destruction running through some of the villages in  Sri Lanka and Indonesia, completely awful. They even got damage from the tremors and the water on the coast of Africa. This was not how was wanted to end 2004.
