To be honest I love the Avengers, I used to watch cartoon adaptation of the comics when I was still a teen so I'm really looking forward to watching the movie now. Unfortunately, where I'm staying right now there is no movie theaterbut I might catch it once I'm back in Beirut next week

I saw it last tuesday Metalhead and have to say it was f*cking awesome!!
I love watching these comic superhero movies even though I'm not a comic book fan. From the minute I heard this movie was coming out and after having seen the Iron man, Capt. America and Thor movies I'd been like a little kid on Christmas eve waiting for it's release. The danger of anticipation like this is that the finished movie would be a let down but I have to say that my expectations were met.
The balance of the movie is perfect, just the right amount of character development, all out action and comedy make this movie fly by and it gets 9.5/10 from me.
I saw it in 3D which was okay but reports are that this doesn't really add anything over the 2D version and I have to say that I'd probably agree. I would have been very happy just seeing the 2D version and would still have given it 9.5/10. If IMAX 3D is available it apparently is very good but either way you'll be so drawn in to the movie that I doubt it'll make a blind bit of difference.
