An old but great feel good movie " Let it ride " 1989 , with Richard Dreyfuss. Classic feel good movie. You should like it Dawson as its about betting and horse racing.

Finally managed to watch the whole Infernal affairs trilogy last week and although they can be a bit hard to follow at times they are three fantastic films. Quality acting from all involved and the directing is top notch stuff.
If you get your hands on the DVD's then I'd recommend watching them in this order: Infernal Affairs 2, Infernal Affairs, Infernal Affairs 3. That is the order the story runs in and may make it easier to follow.

Also saw Children of Men the other night and thought it weren't bad. Very good performance again from Clive Owen and directing from Alfonso Cuaron. A lot of the scenes are filmed in one long take which helps to keep the movie's flow going. The futuristic world of 2027 that it is set in is well envisaged as it's not one of these far-fetched efforts but more of a modernising of the world we know.
