Well worth the DL, first half an hour is a tad slow but stick with it. It is a tad predictable too, but that doesnt spoil this movie.

8/10

Gonna watch 'Glory' tomorrow.

Seriously that good Bam,8outta10? ???

Dont bother answering that Bam!
Just finished it and have to say it was very good,i was pleasantly surprised! :)
I get what you are saying about it being predictable it was in parts, but I think that paved the way for a few twists rather well a few things happened which i never expected...cant really go any further because it would spoil it for anyone who's gonna watch it.It was all very tense after the first big incident to the end
I thought Woody played the geeky nerd really well and Kingsley got the Russian accent spot on!
Was a good show! :nod

Both played there parts well.

I've just watched 'Glory' with Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman and Matthew Broderic..

I really liked this 1989 movie, cannot believe I've never seen it before, quite sad at the end too, true story, good flick.

that it wasn't the biggest pile of w@nk that I've seen in a long time. I really don't want to go off on a rant about how bad this film turned out to be. I'm so disappointed. I've been a big time fan of the show since it first started, and I feel like Chris Carter has just plunged a dagger in my back. Mulder and Scully just didn't seem to be themselves, it was like they were different characters such was the thinness of the dire script. There were episodes that were 100 times better done than this dross. I'm gutted, because this surely means there will be no more films being made, and it's probably a good thing based on this.

4/10 and that's being kind, coming from a big fan of the series too. :(

I went to see X Files last night. And I have to disagree with you ER. I really enjoyed film. I too am a big fan of the series and I still watch it on cable (the re runs never get boring, lol). Yes I agree that they have both "aged", but its 6 years since the last episode was made and everyone ages sometime.
The plot for the film was good and kept me guessing for a while as to what was going on but Chris Carters imagination came up trumps again.

For me it was a great film so I'm going to give it 8/10

All the doom on here put me off the X-files. I really liked the series and was looking forward to this movie, until I read this thread.

So its good to see someone likes it.  :)

Cause I dont see the point in downloading them mate!I just watch em and then thats it,i cant understand having 50 full length movies on your hard drive when ya can watch them in about 4 clicks of a mouse anyway.
If I knew how to put them onto DVD and watch them on the telly I would download, but I could never work out how to do it and am beyond trying to find out! :D
