I should have my college loan cleared next year and I'll probably move onto something fancier (budget allowing) but despite being one of the gayest cars around, my trusty Micra hasn't let me down yet.

..nothing like a reliable car.. JBG... even if it is rather gayish  :D

My younger brother bought a 1 year old Hyundai Coupe a few months ago, leaving me a bit jealous.

Maybe next year I'll treat myself, but at the moment I see no point in being a slave to a car.

Hey don't throw your rattle out the pram Mr Psychologist.

A little puzzled as to why you believe all cars are materialistic ? And there I was believing cars were a form of transport ???

Maybe living in a city where people make judgements about each other based on how big their house is and what car they drive has replaced any sense of community where you live ? :D

When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

Look mate, don’t presume to know where I live because I follow the Hammers. I don’t live in “a city where people make judgements about each other based on how big their house is”, I live in a country town. Therefore I need a decent, reliable car. Hence the Audi. It’s not a new car, (’99), and the reason I havn’t changed it is…. It’s fully f*cking loaded. Add all of this to the fact that the thread is about motors and you end up with my post. Mind you I shouldn’t be to hard on ya. I would have an inferiority complex if I drove a 406 as well.

If you where the jealous type you would go mad in Liverpool with all the drugdealers cars, Audis, mercs, jags, bmw.
They do get on my nerves, that people work hard and dont have the money to buy a brand spankin new top of the range cars. With having to pay bills and mortgages etc.
And you have sh.itty @rse kids driving around in the newest top of the range expensive makes of cars whilst others work there bollox off to make ends meet.
But then again we can sleep at night they dont
Its all about a gorgeus girl on there arm, about 10 on the side, designer clothes, big posh houses with 100 bedrooms :glare: .
and about 10 of the best and newest cars on the market.
But everything I have has been worked for :)
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
