Citizen eco drive watches - are they any good?

I got a gift certificate from work for a few hundred quid and thought id treat myself to a watch as i've never had one. I got one of the eco drive ones that were on sale. They look quite nice but the guy kept going on about eco drive being good as it is powered by all light sources.

Anyone here ever had one of these?

Cheers

Yes I've had a watch.  They work, at least twice a day.

Get a cuckoo clock Tubbs, you can' wear it on your wrist BUT if you stuff it down your pants the reaction you get from those around you on the hour is priceless, especially if you leave your fly unzipped.

Not a proper one... I had a crappy digital one when I was a kid but that didn't last long, water damage.

Its a first class watch mate, go for it. I tried the titanium one on the other day, looks very nice.

An alternative watch at a good price is a Skagen from Denmark. This is my current watch, 200 notes>
