Manhattan knows just the man for the job.

A man who can be trusted with authority and responsibility.....

MANHATTAN!!!!!

Manhattan would make a great moderatorist.

I would ban everyone and have the entire message board to myself!!!!

If Manhattan becomes a mod, do I have to ride around on one of those mopeds and listen to Paul Weller?

Personally I think the 2 new mods will be an asset to the forum.
Sabre is a very level headed person and peewee is geographically ideal for the late shift.
They will be moderating for no remuneration at all except for 2 weeks all expenses paid leave at the Newkit villa in Florida and use of the comfy chair at weekends. Please give them a chance.

Don't complain Peewee, at least they do not expect you being sat down in the chair on weekends while everybody else is at the pub.  :D

Tonight I have a big fiesta (birthday of a mate) so I cannot do the night shift . And probably will get up at 4 PM tomorrow

neil is a weird one. posts in general chat and football, never says much, sometimes posts funny one-liners. But every so often he goes berserk for no reason that i can see.

I agree that asking for you account to be deleted is just plain silly. you wanna leave then just feck off, no need to have your account deleted.

thecatsmeow knew how to leave the forum, such a warm goodbye. One post, then gone forever.

Where did neil announce he wanted his account deleting, the mod decided to do that. maybe he didnt want new mods gaining acces to ip address etc. just a thought.

I don't think that's true. Most requests to delete an account are done privately, and it would be pointless to lie about that and say Neil decided that when he didn't.

Personally I didn't understand much of what was the problem with Neil, I never had a trouble with him, and IIRC, he can come back if he requests so again, that's what Peewee said. If he chose to leave, and I believe 100% Peewee on this, there's not much to do about it until he wants to come back.

The IP issue shouldn't concern Neil, neither. I haven't looked at the laws for a while but I think it's safe to say he's well protected by them when it comes to privacy no matter in which UE country he lives in. Meaning that his ISP wouldn't give us his true name or address unless there was a justice decission ordering so. In fact, some forums put each poster's address in every poster's post, available to everybody, so there's nothing to be afraid of.

I think peewee and neil are the same person, split personality like, Neil wanted to be mod but the other side of peewees brain won AKA peewee, so basically he was arguing with him self, peewee couldnt ban neil cos he would ban himself (same ip) so he says delete my account :)

joke, dont ban me peewee.

or am i your newe alias??  :D  :D  :D  :D
