As a £1 million bounty was placed on Gaddafi’s head, soldiers from 22 SAS Regiment began guiding rebel soldiers after being ordered in by David Cameron.

For the first time, defence sources have confirmed that the SAS has been in Libya for several weeks, and played a key role in co-ordinating the fall of Tripoli.

I don't think the families and friends of their loved ones who died under IRA attacks would be bemoaning this.

That is a mere drop in the ocean too - think of all the others who have died, been oppressed or whatever, in some way or another by him.

i don't see what your problem is with the funding of MOD, would you rather we funded them a holiday to Hawaii instead?
