what is the bird on the LFC logo...is it a swan or something

you're right it's a very stupid question.

It's a Liverbird

It's a mythical bird, and is a cross between a Cormorant and an Eagle apparently.

"Two statues of this bird sit on top of the Royal Liver Building on the Liverpool dockside. It is said that "if ever the Birds were to fly away, Liverpool would cease to exist".

It is said if a virgin passes beneath the liverbirds [at the Liver building Liverpookl]the birds will flap their wings.Never seen it yet.

Redcard , do yourself a favour mate .Try using google or something before you ask "stupid" questions on the forum ,that way you'll avoid getting slated .
As it happens I think the only stupid part of your post was "is it a swan or someting ?" Otherwise it was a perfectly valid question seeing as nodody is 100% sure exactly what breed of bird it is . there are however some quite interesting theories on the internet ,the most popular being it's either an eagle or a cormorant ,(the stuff hanging from it's beak being seaweed)
