Nice one , Begintoend, from that list I only have " Stormriders" . I've considered getting "Infernal Affairs" but wasn't sure if it was any good, so many thanx for your tips.
I get my films on DVD from a company in Hawaii, apart from the fact they have thousands of asian films they are also 50% cheaper than uk companies.
Thanx again
:)

I see that most of ya, well woof and misty, are very into kungfu heh....

If you guys were able to read any chinese comics in english, I bet you will love it too. As many of those action flicks has gotton inspiration from chinese comics and novels.

Just like Matrix from Jap Anime GHOST IN THE SHELL. Great stuff.

It's not just the "action stuff that I like. I love Gong Li ( isn't she gorgeous ! ) and have many of her films "Ju Dou" , "Qui Ju " , "Shanghai Triad " "Farewell my Concubine " and "Red Sorghum" .

Have you seen "Shaolin Soccer" ? if so is it any good ? :)

Well, that's gotta be pure humour. Funny man, Stephen Chow, the eastern Jim Carrey. :D

You'll enjoy it if you understand asian slapstick humour. :;):

I have two of his films ,"Flirting Scholar" and "Royal Tramp". Love the asian slapstick humour. It wasn't until I started watching asian film that I realised that chinese sense of  humour was so great. Very often "bawdy" the humour displayed in chinese film dispelled many of the stereotypical preconceptions I had about oriental people. :)

I order through "www.HKFlix.com" most of their titles cost between £6-£12.Asian dvds in the shops are usually £10-£20 . They are reliable , delivery takes about two weeks from Hawaii ,what I especially like about them is that if they consider a movie to be a load of sh*t they will say so in their mini review.Plus you can also get stuff that has not yet been released or is just not available here.  You do need an all region dvd player though.

Nice one PeeWee, at that price I imagine they're "copies" whats the quality like ? .
A mate set me some from phuket and they weren't so good . Someone had taken a camera into the cinema and filmed the movie, whilst watching the dvd you could see people in the audience getting up tp go for popcorn or a slash . :D   :D

Cheers PeeWee,
Anybody seen "The story of Ricky O " ?. Apparently it's "the most violent hong kong move ever made " . In one fight scene a guy tries to use his own intestines to strangle his opponent. That's what I call Hard, maybe we could sign him for our midfield.  :D  :D  :D
