I'd rather you did play than Ferdinand....don't rate him.  Too gaff prone, and of course injury prone.

No doubt King will get the nod over Carra for the first game, but King will then be in cotton wool till September, so Carra might get some game time.

He's over the hill, last season he was nothing short of diabolical.

There is a Barcelona lobby of bandwagon supporters and general fúckwits that have been pressing in the media about Valdés being not only 2nd Keeper, but even remove Casillas out of the position.

Basically they say that based on the two leagues in a row that Barcelona have won.

But fortunately enough Del Bosque set right the pecking order, and yesterday he made clear against South Korea that Reina hasn't lost the 2nd keeper position.

And that's spot on because Reina is better than Valdes. In the distribution and foot play he's also better than Casillas, but tbph I wouldn't find normal to replace the current european champion keeper without a very solid reason.

Del Bosque if anything is someone who knows to keep the press and a dressroom happy.
