I had predicted Spain to win this match comfortably, they have looked great until the final third where they have been lacking. They'll have to do better than that otherwise my prediction of them not making it past the last 16 will be proven correct. It has been an excellent match though. I'm worried about us facing Algeria now. :p

Wow!  First big shock of the tournament.  Like the Barcelona team that forms much of the foundation of the national side, Spain can absolutely dominate a game in terms of possession but if they don't bring they're shooting boots they're as vulnerable as any team.  Fair play to the Swiss who defended stoutly and took their chance with determination.  I still expect Spain to get out of their group.  In fact, they still have a decent chance of topping their group but the wake up bell has been sounded.
