Juve better than milan - League doesn't lie

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

The league doesn't lie and it looks like Juve will win it. 5 points clear with two games to go.

I therefore feel comfortable in saying that Juve are probably the best team in Europe, Chelsea come close (as do Barca).

However as some legendary team knocked Juve and Chelsea out, I really feel that we have a better chance of beating Milan than we did beating Juve. This together with the fact that the players will have confidence from this.

AS there are two games left and I believe the Euro cup final has to be the last game of the season, that means Milan are playing midweek (prob Thursday) and Sunday too. I hope it goes to the final day so they play a full team 3 days before oure game.

My point being - Are Juve better than Milan, I think so.

Does that mean Everton are better than us??
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Niall, looks like they will have 4 days!

From Sporting Life:

JUVE BACK MILAN MATCH SWITCH

Juventus have shown their support for Scudetto rivals AC Milan in the Rossoneri's bid for the Champions League crown.

The Turin outfit have welcomed the decision by the Italian Football League (Lega Calcio) to postpone the Serie A clash between Milan and Palermo that was set to be played three days before the Champions League final in Istanbul against Liverpool on May 25.

Instead, the game will now be played on May 20, which will give the Rossoneri four days to prepare for the clash.

"It's right to facilitate the path for an Italian team in order that they can participate in the most prestigious European final in the best way possible," said Juventus director Antonio Giraudo.

"Because their achievement gives the whole of Italian football great pride."

Yeah, they'll have 4 day but.....
- We've already finished our season on we need only to prepare for Istanbul clash
- The have a match against Palermo who's close to European spot place so the won't be easy rivals
- Milan has to push still for Scudetto, however they don't stand a chance in my opinion, but their fans and Berlusconni would forgive Ancelotti if he'd let these 2 matches go.

So therefore these are great news for us, despite changing the date of the match.

This season, I think it does!  The table doesn't lie - FFS Bolton nearly got 5th spot ahead of us!

We lost 14 games!!!!

I've always said the table doesn't lie and this year Everton are better than us, otherwise we'd have more points.

If their last game is on Saturday, does that mean the whole league will have to play their last game on Saturday.

Anyway I assume they are playing mid week too?

HOpefully it'll go to last day, I can't imagine their fans allowing them to field an understrength team and allow rivals Juve win league without a fight. This could be telling if our game goes to extra time.

Do milan have anybody suspended?

they have to play a strong team, if they win they will move to 2 points from Juventus and although Juve will have a game in hand, it will put pressure on them and might make the title go to the last game of the season.  Milan's manager would be a fool to give up on the title yet.  I expect to see a full Milan side play 4 days before the CL final.

Lets not kid ourselves. Milan have already given up hope about winning seria A...... I guess they will field their reserve squad until the champions league final.

It won't make a difference if they have a game 3 or 4 days in advance....

There's no 2 way about it. We have to play well to defeat milan.....No point in thinking we can only defeat milan if they are tired.
