Man, thats a sad state of affairs, but either way we will always be a bigger team, and they must see our potential...

Personally for me, my wishlist would see the first choces as 1) GH sacked 2) GH sacked 3) GH sacked Maybe the 4th one would be to wish for VDV & Mexes donning our colours.....

yeah i would be willing to keep all the players we have now, as average as some of them might be, if it meant getting a new manager.

What about Joe Cole or Ruben Baraja.

We might have a coach who knows a thing or two about first rate foreigners now!!!  Not second rate Senegalese and French players.

Van Der Vaart, no contest
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

i voted VDV also, but would love to see Deco, the man is class and he showed that 2night, and class players perform on the big stage.

If Mourinho were to become manager hopefully Deco would follow him over here.

Deco and Stevie G would be greta in the cntre of the park, Gerrard the box to box ball winner also with plenty of pace and creativity and Deco a very creative player with a lot of flair.

With it looking ever increasingly likely that we are looking at bringing a manager in from the continent, do yuo believe he will pursue the interest that Houllier showed in wanting to bring in future England stars and further homegrown talent? We were linked with the likes of Shawn Wright Phillips and Michael Dawson but ppl said that they have not been tested and are not ready for the leap into such a big club. Surely the Liverpool setup would have no problem nurturing them up and turning them into future England representatives!
what do you rekon?

However was Houllier actually interseted in signing these players or was it all media hype? I believe that it would be right to bring in these players as any english club should have an englis "heartbeat/backbone" running through the team, mixed with the flair of foreign players.

just a thought.
