Had the biopsy on Monday, i DO NOT react well to general anesthetic!

I felt like I had the worlds worst hangover and felt like I hadn't had a drink for a month when I woke up. However, they've removed a small lymph node for analysis and its definately helped with the back pain I was getting... but left with incredible pain in my upper arm/shoulder joint.

I was kept in Monday night as my breathing took a turn for the worst over the weekend too and the scan revealed I have picked up the early stages of pneumonia, however they've caught it very early so sent me home with antibiotics which was a relief. 5 day course... which is a bit sh*t as my parent brought a Sh*t load of ale over for me and my missus and she's sat there drinking it all

Hopefully find out what's actually wrong with me early next week and find out what treatment I'm going to need. Really hoping its not the "C" word (yes I know I'm a c*nt I mean the other one )  for my missus and parents sake more so than my own.

all the best to yer, stu. and i'm sure whatever it is you're suffering from - a common cold, a witchdoctor's curse, TB, the big C, herpes, or whatever - you'll kick seven bells out of it and come back stronger. and i'll tell you something else for free, i'd give my hind leg to be as 'old' as 30 again.

In whiston hospital now lads and had my results before. Its called T cell lympho blast lymphoma which is actually on the boarder of leukemia and lymphoma.

Pretty up beat to be fair. Should be starting chemo next week and steroids tomorrow. Still strugglin with breathing but on oxygen and getting plenty of morphine... Which is a definate bonus!

Fingers crossed Stu. At least you have the diagnosis and they're on it. I've known a few people go through similar things and the best advice I can give you at the moment is literally take each day as it comes. Enjoy the good days and try not to let the sh1t ones get to you. Sending you and your family as many good vibes and best wishes as I can

Sorry to hear your latest news Stu. We have some amazing specialists in this country that specialise in your illness and I'm sure that with your positive never give in attitude and their incredible ability you can beat this nasty little so and so !! Perhaps you could name it Rafa - just a thought

Haha... This has made me realise that the Spaniard was more like a flu to lfc rather than a cancer...

Must admit, having to confirm it to my Mrs was the hardest thing I ever had to do. On the upside still feeling up for brushing the f*ck out of the little *****.

Just trying to set little goals, at the minute its just to be able to shrink the lumps to relieve the pressure and stop me aching allowing me to get some sleep. Next one will probably be toget back out on the golf course and hack my way round

Gutted am missing all the decent weather tho. Doesn't half pick its times.

Saw something earlier about a plant/fruit in the Amazon rainforest called Graviolo (sp) plant/tree. (not sure if this is true) but research in 20 different laboratories found that this natural plant/fruit is 10,000 times more powerful than any chemotherapy or synthetic $hit made by big pharma. Threw the facts and findings under a carpet so average Joe still has to rely on them saving life while paying small fortunes in the process.

My advice, get yourself down to Brazil Stu, have a look in the Amazon for this plant (I'll come with ya) bring back as much of that stuff as possible, eat it, drink it, grow it and the world may (if all of the above is true) be a better place - thanks to mother Earth.

We always argue like f*ck Stu ,but I enjoyed our little battles and they simply confirmed to me how passionate a fella you actually are (stubborn but passionate  )
So its genuinely with the greatest regret  I read your latest news on the confirmation of the disease that's suddenly cast a horrible shadow over your life.

I just think your attitude is fantastic mate ,and the fact you make light of it and refuse to cower in the face of such traumatic news ,leaves me with nothing but admiration for you fella .......Keep fighting kid ,it has no right to be in your life, so show it the contempt it truly deserves.
