If RM pick up Bale they won't come looking for Suarez. Pretty sue they can't afford 60mill for Bale +another 50 for Suarez?

Rather his wages went towards someone with a future at the club.

There's a rumor (again) that Torres might be coming back. Chelsea owe us 15 million, but apparently we'd rather have Torres back than the money. I personally wouldn't, not for 15 million and especially not with Carroll looking like he's staying.

You probably said the same when we signed Gary Mac...

I also said the same about Zenden and every other free that we signed

Gary Mac was a one off not the norm.

I would welcome his back for sure. I mean, I know he's 29 now, but he has a lot to give to the team in general. I don't know, maybe it's something from the heart, but I would never mind Nando coming back.

If they manage to capture him from Farcalona we have no option but to go and pay over the odds to get this Eriksen kid into our side, no ifs no buts about it.

The question is if Spurs don't sell him even for 60 million, then the scumbags will come after Suarez with offers of 30 mill, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and then finally 60 million. Will FSG have the b.all.s to say no to 60?

60 million would indeed be tempting... it could be used to strengthen other areas of the team and have a more balanced team...

we could end up losing way more than what we bargained for this summer.
i really dont understand why downing is being linked away, get him some competition for sure but it isnt an area that needs addressing in this window.
id rather the club just stuck to getting whats needed rather than embarking on what appears to be phase 3 of the wage cull.
