Torres attitude & body language is all wrong, his work rate is poor, confidence is completely shot. We don't need that.

Only way I'd do a deal is if we can swap Joe Cole for Torres

I wouldnt take Torres back at all. He had it good at Liverpool, but like Owen, saw the money and ran.

I find it funny how the two players I have mentioned commanded the best respect when they was at LFC, but since, they have commanded none. You reap what you sow.

I think to this day that the best bit of business Comolli did, apart from buying Suarez, was selling Torres for £50m to Chelshit when he had become a very average and disillusioned player at Liverpool.Nothing has changed since his arrival at Chelshit. The majority of fans would not welcome Nando back in Liverpool. He recently admitted that he didn't care if Chelshit won or lost. That is what you get for nearly £200k per week from a grumpy modern day footballer.Rafa got the best out of Nando and for that I will always be grateful.I'm still a fan.Nando gave us some great memories and I think Commoli manipulated the sale to maximum effect. Just a shame that he had no real plan for a replacement and spent £35m on a very average and limited player who's record is currently 2 goals in 36 league games !!
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years 20/21 to 24/25  (10 years
are in brackets 15/16 to 24/25 )
LFC €300m (€420m)
Everton +€33m (€211m)
Arsenal €557m (€853m)
Spurs €571m (€684m)
Chelsea €945m (€1051m)
Man City €370m (€1038m)
Man United €687m (€1240m)

Well considering January window  isn't normally the best time to be doing business I can't say I'm that optimistic at the moment. Mind you I can console myself with Suarez transfer

I think he knows he fooked up by leaving when he did. I reckon he might think he has unfinished business

What unfinished business would that be?

Fernando Torres showed little or no respect for the club, the managers and the supporters in his last 18 months at Liverpool. He clearly didn't want to be here and left us in the sh*t on the last day of the transfer window. He also said he had joined a bigger club upon arrival to Chelsea and yet some supporters want him to re-sign? Are you mad? He's been very poor over the last two-and-a-half years, his work-rate is second to none, this is evident when he plays for Chelsea, but sadly gone are the days where Torres averages 1 goal in every 2 games, he's not consistent in front of goal.

I think he should seek a return to Atletico Madrid, Chelsea want Falcao, so I'd imagine they'll use Torres as a bargaining chip to seal that deal in January or next summer.

Roman controlls that club, Benitez would just be there to select the team each week and train them inbetween matches. If Roman wants to cash in on Torres, then there's nothing Benitez can do about it.

This is what I'm saying, I don't think Rafa has thought this through properly. He has had bust ups with Hicks, Gillett and Purslow and was sacked. He had a bust up with Moratti and was sacked, if he has a bust up with Roman, he'll be sacked. He needs to go to a club that will say 'here you go Rafa, here's £40m to spend, you're in total control of the footballing side of the club'. At Chelsea he's just a coach, Roman has the final say at Chelsea.

I'm sure you know exactly what Benitez has thought about it (that's sarcasm, by the way!)
Seeing as he has been hired as an interim manager 'n stuff....
