ahh, I see, his parents are on holiday in Spain thats why I can't get a response from them. I got this reply from a friend of his mums who I know on Facebook...

Sunderland are willing to pay whatever is required to get him - £12mil fee plus matching his wages at City. Also willing to cough up £13 mil for Steven Fletcher. It's quite sad that they can afford that sort of money.

and yet spain won the euros with only Torres as a striker, and playing no strikers at all in some games.
Personally i think the game has evolved to the point an out and out striker is unneccessary.

cant beleive people are seriously saying that we dont need another winger, its one of the position where we are clearly the weakest in! weve get Downing, Assadi, Sterling who can play there, ones terrible, ones a unknown new player and the others a kid, we cant be ending the transfer window without signing a top winger unless we want to finsih mid table again

No it's not. Adam won't join us. He'll end up going to Spurs or Sunderland or staying in City, who are apparently buying Sinclair. Anyway, Liverpool has always been pathetically slow when it comes to tying up transfers. I hope Johnson joins us, but I won't be having high hopes.
