Salah should convince Marmoush to join us,  seems like he may end up at City.

Uptop as good as we seem we really need a reliable inclusion, bar salah we are lacking someone close to him.

Diaz, Gakpo - Hit and miss
Jota- in and out injury room
Nunez- no comment
Chiesa- sleeping on bench

If the owners are waiting for summer they've got a huge job to keep us challenging, especially with potential players going out.

I was hoping we would at atleast in this window get a player to gel in.

When we went for quad, diaz signing propelled us onto another level, rotated well and gave the others competition.

We had Salah, Mane, Firmino, Diaz, jota, Origi, Minamino to choose from.

Compared to now Salah, Diaz, Jota, nunez, chiesa, gakpo.

I just don't feel confident with what we have now.

Owners really needed to at least address one department this month.

We still got time but I can't see them buying anyone.

Tired of talking about Nunez but what a waste of position he has been.

That lad Arsenal are after seems like a good option, Gyokeres.

I think player’s contract always end in June and there aren’t many players available in January unless they are cr@p so unlikely we will get any game changers this window. Just like we lose Salah and Trent for free and they get a big signing on bonus we are probably looking at similar deals for this summer, with FFP it seems to be how football is now. It will be hard to replace two world class players but they are out there, even if not world class yet. Liverpool 2.0 was only a midfield rebuilt, we need a similar rebuild in defense. Trent, VVD, and Robertson are three very good players we need to find replacements for, Konate is not world class and he does miss games so that is the complete backline we need to address in this and the next window. Losing Salah would hurt but our defense needs to take priority.

Imagine what we could achieve with a forward line that includes a player like Isak?

                    Isak
Diaz                           Salah

Jota/Danns/Gakpo chipping in from the bench/rotation.

Never happen and the defense is probably the priority but nice to dream

The Times: Jayden Danns, 19,  who became the youngest Liverpool player to start in Europe’s premier club competition, may yet be allowed to join one of the many Sky Bet Championship clubs who have an interest in him. The striker’s future will be discussed by Slot and director of football Richard Hughes in the coming days.

he's the future and he is more than ready for the first team. If we aren't going in for Isak I'd put this lad in the first 11 and see where we go. I can 100% guarantee a better goal return than Darwin Poonez

Apart from Danns going out on loan, I can’t see there being much business from us today.

Apparently Guehi is attracting bids - he’s a player I think would work well here. But his asking price will be bonkers, which would make any move from us unlikely.

Funny how all LFC fans collectively have accepted that there will be no activity this month lol. Like we've accepted it and can't even be asked to moan.

City and Villa have strengthened a bit, let's hope their new inclusions don't make much of a difference when we face them.

City got Marmoush, Reis, Khusanov, Gonzales.

Villa, Asensio, Rashford,Disasi loans

City casually spending amounts of money equal to our budget for 4 or 5 transfer windows. Most likely they will spend even more in the summer.

As for Villa they also signed Malen from Dortmund in this window. If I remember correctly we were linked with him once. Glad we never went for him but could be decent for Villa.

AC Milan signed a decent player for about 20m, the forward from Feyenoord, Gimenez. I was hoping we could go for him in the summer as he's good, young and has played under Slot and wouldn't have cost a fortune, seems like our type of player.

City will probably have a transfer ban so they are trying to buy everything they need before it kicks in.

I'm just hoping there new lads don't shine quick because we're facing them soon.

Tyler Morton deal with Middlesbrough is off as LFC want upwards of £10million plus add ons. Middlesbrough can’t afford it.
