We can't keep every player and what it really comes down to is the bid that comes in for them. If its what they want they will take it.

I think Carvalho is a lot nicer on the eye but should be in a team that doesn’t rely on pressing high. I think Carvalho, just like Coutinho did, has flaws defensively and that is probably why Jones was kept ahead of him. I think Jones is bigger, stronger and is defensively stronger and overall adds more to the team. I would also have chosen Jones in that choice. My only concern for the club would be in 4 years who’s value would be greater?

Solanke to spurs is a strange one. I honestly don’t think he’s worth anywhere near what they paid and think things will go south very quickly.

Honestly though, what the feck are the Chavs up to? How many players have they got now? How can they possibly keep almost 50 players sweet? And can it possibly be legit i.e. no rules broken?

Doak for sale, really?? Dafuq is going on with this club. So much talent coming through and they're either being sold or farmed out to lower leagues. The latter makes sense to get experience but selling Carvalho, Morton, Doak.... I'm baffled

We are a bunch of wheeler dealers mate that robs Peter to pay Paul. The talk before the window was open was securing Vvd, Trent and Mo to a new deal but according to Virgil he has yet to receive a formal offer!! What's the odds we make a profit in this window.

It's a cycle mate that goes full circle. Big up the youth before you either sell or release for nothing. Goodbye Doak, Clark etc and welcome to Nyoni, Danns & Harvey!!  Sick of them over the years doing this and you would want to see some of the names we released that were once tipped to be the goat. Sepp was never given a chance under Klopp but got a preseason under Slot in which the lad never put a foot wrong..Despite us needing reinforcing at CH we will sell and replace him with something less experienced and cheaper but somehow better!!

The Zubimendi situation isn't straight forward apparently. He has to pay his own Release clause to get out of the club, obviously funded by us. But him and his agent are the ones that need to start the ball rolling if this deal has to go through.

Sounds as though we may have tried to negotiate a fee by offering Sociedad more than the release clause however wirh staggered payments but appears they want the release clause in full.

Looks like he's rejected our offer and decided to sign a new contract at Sociedad. Our offer was way higher than theirs aswell. Very disappointing, but we move on.

Don't sound as though he was ever that keen on a move away from Spain. Time to move on

Under 3 weeks left and we've added no one to the squad. I'm sure we will do by the close of the window but am surprised we haven't managed to even get one in by now.

We're here again. Every single transfer window ends in disaster. We've got 2/3 more years of Virgil, Alisson, and Salah.. and then it's back to mediocrity. We'll never spend the money required to replace that amount of quality.
