To be fair he does look quite good, you can see why they call him the Turkish Messi, obviously he is nowhere as good as the Argentinian version but he does have a similar build, gait, running style etc and the lad is skilful
Hard to know what the standard is like over there but if they are half decent defenders that he is going past then he might be worth having a look at.

Massive speculation circulating that Werner is a done deal for this summer, apparently its from the same sources who broke the  signing of Keita and Fabinho.

It's the usual clan of Twitter ITKs. Think they are saying we want him in the summer and will try to do a deal now for him to come in the summer if we can. Nothing about a done deal though?

I don't see Bundesliga football any more but follow the reports online. By all accounts there's nothing really special about him, not particularly fast, not a great touch. Can't see what the fascination is to be honest.

He's quite pacey, can play across the front 3 and averages a goal every other game. But the bits and bobs I've seen he doesn't look as technically good as our current attacking players.

Yup he does seem to have potential. Loads of pace, good dribbling and a good shot on him even though it is a weaker league.
27m for 19yr not bad tbf so i wouldn't mind if we went in for him.

Watched him a few times.. He's lightening quick, he takes up good attacking positions, and he's also a good finisher. At 22 he's a steal for 40-50m.

If he left us because “his dream was to play for Barcelona”, he hates the weather and his wife blah blah, then ends up at ManUre, I’d be shocked. It would be worse than Owen even though he was a local boy.

Has to be Cr@p surely

I’ll say it again, they will never sing his name again as the Liverpool supporters did. He accepted less money to play there now he wants out. He was an idiot to have left.

Meireles weren't too bad. Seem to remember him and Suarez linking up really well when Kenny took over from Hodgson. Banged in a few goals.

Decent player but his heart didn't bleed RED .

Just 44 appearences in two seasons with us, and more than happy to move on (to Chelsea !) for another paycheck.
