If you add some pace around him with the likes of Ibe and creativity of Coutinho and need runners off him he would be a good striker and he scores goals but his price is way too much - should have bought him when he was £16mil

Right, you are a F**King ******** and an idiot- just accept that alright sunny. Now you go ahead and stroll you Pr*ck.

Just about every one of your post shows that you constantly leave in cloud cuckoo land, with rose tints.   Just like you, I have an opinion, and have accepted other members opinions, without name calling etc. But you step over the line today. You are a total F**kwit.

And yes, i have contacts that are in the game and share info as much as i can. The likes of you though are incredibly stupid. Says much about the 'new' LFC fan, so just go screw yourself.

So, who will get promoted from within the club Inglethorpe, Linders. Think both should be, think Linders might, but what do you all think?

We are being linked with Charlie Austin in this mornings papers

Nothing against the lad and seems an ok player, but are strikers like Austin and Ings the height of our ambitions now ?

We we will probably try and get rid of some junk from our squad before we make serious moves in the market. Plus if Sterling moves, will give us more to put towards decent incomings.

I can't see us going for him after just signing Ings. Imo the next CF we bring in will be quite high profile (Benteke etc)

At the moment it sounds like it’s between Christian Benteke and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the striker spot. Looks like we’re not willing to pay Benteke’s £32.5 million release clause so if we can’t negotiate a reasonable price for him we’ll probably end up with Aubameyang.

Benteke/Aubameyang
Sturridge
Origi
Ings

:help Tevez snubs Liverpool

According to the Sunday papers, Carlos Tevez has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Anfield.
Liverpool had reportedly been preparing a £15m bid for the Juventus striker, but with interest from a host of other clubs across Europe, including PSG and Atletico Madrid, plus his former club Boca Juniors back in Argentina, his agent appears determined to get him a big-money move before his Juve contract expires next summer.

I am not surprised if it's true. Not that far back we used to buy player's from the Barcelona,s of the football world. Now it's the Burnley,s  and Bolton,s. Yes BR has took us forward NOT. we are in reverse gear and it's stuck  :help

Bottom line is that to get in the top 4 you need a team/squad at least as good as the sides in those positions and if you look
at our side and try and slot them into other teams, well there's not many make it.

Liverpool is venture capital club now who buy to sell on and make money, there is a faint ambition of reaching the top 4 but with
revenues in the £90+ million plus sales (Suarez/Sterling) for finishing just outside top 4 FSG shareholders are pretty happy with those returns without breaking
the bank.

No coincidence our first 3 buys are free as that was all that mattered, no real strategy of where they will play or fit in, its a small to no risk recruitment policy.

We have been linked with a lot of players recently like Clyne, Tevez, Kovacic. All would improve our first 11, but all would cost money.

I feel like we have become a feeder club for the Boston Red Sox. FSG are making money off our great club, and instead of investing it back into the club, they are out spending $40/$50 million dollars on buying players for Boston.

The fact no one's picking up on this is frustrating.

Liverpool Echo reporting that a permanent deal for Coates to Sunderland for 4 million is about done and we also in for young Charlton defender Joe Gomez...

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/fo ... en-9454761

Liverpool are keen on securing a £3.5m deal for Charlton Athletic teenager Joe Gomez.

And the Reds are also close to offloading misfit defender Sebastian Coates to Sunderland.

Gomez, 18, has been watched by Anfield scouts regularly over the past 12 months, having made an impressive step up to the Charlton first-team.

The England U19 defender, who can play as both a right back or centre back, has been interesting a number of Premier League clubs, with Arsenal and Manchester City both regularly linked.

Liverpool, though, have made their interest known, and believe Catford-born Gomez would jump at the chance to move to Merseyside.

The Reds believe he would be available for an initial £3.5m, with further performance-related add-ons. No official offer has been tabled at this stage, however, and they are aware that Arsenal have a strong working relationship with Charlton.

An 18 year old CB? Yeah, that's exactly what we need to close the gap on the clubs above us. Good to see Brendan and the TC have got their priorities right, get the Bosman's and the young players who we might make a future profit on in first.

We are certainly a feeder club for the likes of City, Chelsea, Arsenal etc who all regularly have scouts at Anfield seeing if there is anyone worth buying.
