I just hope RB signed an established player rather than a young prospect if we are going to challenge Chelsea next season.

I don't care who it is or where he belongs, as long as he is a good dribble, crosser and can score a few important goals...

what happened simao?......he looked class with benfica, joaquin would be class too......i reckon swp is overrated and overpriced and id say chelski wouldnt sell him to us anyway....and please not that idiot pennant.....if he was that good do u think wenger would have left him go when he was at arsenal?......he reminds me of a GH signing.....

Personally i'd like us to bring alves, he'd be realitively cheap compared to SWP and joaquin and he is versatile, capable of defending and very good at attacking and hes got a belter of a cross. Sounds perfect to me.

hey i am new to the site but a life long liverpool fan who was jst looking for more discussion over the summer talking about football when a cant watch it.

anyway on the right of midfield i would love to see SWP but if it come to the cash i agree arron lennon would be a great signing. already and england international and has brill pace and can beat people. most important there is an endproduct to his play and may be a more feasable buy.

just as important as the right side is finding a true goal scorer to challenge for the prem. defoe?

we dont need a right back in aleves. finnan is the best in that position in the whole league. and Kroncamp for cover. if its not broken dont fix it! right midfiled and striker are the main priority.

two players i believe are well worth having a look at are sweinsteiger and gera. Gera for me would be a cheap purchase and his ability is excellent. Sweinsteiger is gonna be expensive i belive he'll have a good world cup.

I dont believe we'll purchase any of these however, because rafa is gonna go for pennant. I dont like it but it is certain.

yea definately worth a punt at 3.5m.

I rate Jermaine Pennant and think he would be worth 4m. I watched him play against WBA (yea i know its not a good team) and he was bloody brilliant. I also remember him giving us fits the when we played them in the League.
