Giuly to liverpool?

Liverpool Football Club - The Rumour Mill

Not yet in the press, but I have listened several comments in the radio that Giuly hasn't got a place in Barcelona next year (this part of the rumour is very likely) and some commentators are directing him to Liverpool .

THAT would be an EXCELLENT signing, if you ask me. But I don't give a To$$, if Liverpool got a pound every time it's mentioned in Spain nowadays, we could build the new Stadium.

If he's gonna be free, then I'd take him for sure.

He is a class player, shame for him at Barca that Messi is emerging and has often started at Guily's expense this season.

I believe he would be a very good addition to Liverpool shoule he make it to Anfield.

He would be a great signing, only if the price is right. He was the one that got Barca into the CL final.
He is welcome in my books

Barcelona have put Ludovic Giuly's future on hold until after the UEFA Champions League final after revealing they have fielded no official enquiries from Liverpool.

The current European champions have been linked with a summer swoop for Giuly, who is not a regular starter at Camp Nou.

Giuly admits he has not had any contact with Reds boss Rafa Benitez, but conceded he has offers for next season.

But the midfielder's primary target is to secure an extension to his Barcelona contract, which expires in just over 12 months.

The Spanish champions-elect are concerned by the transfer rumours, but do not plan to discuss anything until after the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 17.

"Sincerely, we do not know anything about this question," said Barcelona's sport director Txiki Beguiristain.

"Officially, The Reds have not contacted us and I believe the quotes of our player saying that he has received a proposition.

"I am worried by these things, but it is normal that all the players of Barca have great offers for next season.

"This subject is on stand-by until after the final in Paris against Arsenal."

Too good for Us ???

If Liverpool had met Barca in the Champions League this year I have no doubts that we would have gotten through over two legs...

Guily is good, But dont get too carried away, He is a squad player in Barca and just recently he was playing for Monaco..

Too good for us I think not....  Good for Us...  I think so !!
