Ade, this is one of THE best search engines out there that collates all the newswires internationally.

If it aint shown on Topix it aint happened regardless of what the News of the Screws or anyother worthless tabloid says. Once its out, Topix reports flood in from all over the world.

I check Topix 2-3 times a day and there hasn´t even been the rumour posted. :down:

Like you say, it's all rumour - it's what keeps this site going half the time - but I think we all know the Yanks are off, just a case of when.

this adds weight to the stuff that was posted on here, RAWK etc the other day - that an "outline deal" has been struck but this report obviously says DIC will buy the whole club not just gillett's 50%

let's hope this is true and not just another false dawn...

This appears to be nothing different to the other thread posted earlier on. The story is just referring to the story in the Mirror.
It's getting beyond a joke now the amount of sensationalist headlines declaring we're being taken over, only for it to all turn out to be Bullshit.

I'll believe it once they're using desert sand on the baldy patches of the pitch!!

Surely the fact that this is now getting a mention in the papers adds some weight to it. I think this will happen as well it's just a case of taking these stories with a bit of salt :-)
