The rules of football have now been changed. Man UTD cannot be scored against at Old Trafford from now onwards.

New rule: The only way to score at Old Trafford is for the ball to hit the net, if the ball does not hit the net then it's not a goal.

If the keeper has to stretch that far INTO the goal to get a hand to the ball, then the ball must be pretty far across the line. And that's not hard to spot.

I tell you what - if that had been given as it should've been, Carroll's United career would have gone bye-bye. He can count himself very, very lucky tonight. There was no-one within 30 yards of him, which makes his flap even worse.

The officials at Old Trafford last night - cheated.
They are cheats and should be banned. How could the linesman not tell the ball was over the line, from his position?

Even the Man U fans at the other end of the ground had their head in their hands. And they were all laughing as they left the ground.

It adds more to the argument that at OT it's nigh on impossibl to geta  favourable and this instant correct decision ???

However what REALLY cheeses me off is the media coverage about video technology after the incident last night. Didn't seem to get this much coverage after Saturday's ""handball " incident. ???

I could say that I think it was a freak mistake made by the officials at the very end of a match where a guy takes a wonder shot from nowhere catching EVERYONE out, including the linesmen, but some people seem to put more passion into hating Man UTD than supporting Liverpool and I'd be lynched for saying that.

It was a freak mistake, end of.

It all balances out as Man UTD get their fair share of high profile suspensions we (and others) are lucky to escape from.

Nobody see Jamie Carragher's hand ball against Norwich, then?  :Oo:
