i actually thought it was quite funny when he said that if he could, he would have replaced the whole team at half time.

chelsea were garbage but won. we played well but didn't win. that's the difference between good and great.

Only Man U have won back to back Premiership titles which demonstates how hard it is going to be for Chelsea this season.

People forget that Arsenal (my tip for the title btw) were up there with them for the majority of the seaosn only to fall away towards the end. As Arsenal fouind last seaosn after an exceptional unbeaten season the year before everyone raises their game against you and despite the press gushinga t every opportunity about this Chelsea side they are IMO not as good as the Arsenal team of 2003/04 season .....

Like CIGGY said, I hope chelsea's form stays bad.

Maureen ho was right about Wigan not deserving that result. Wigan should've gotten at least a point.

I am wondering how come he didn't echo his sentiments to us when we dominated them at Anfield only to have Xabi's ankle be broken, penalty appeals turned down, and a late deflected goal?

they had a terrible game yesterday but still picked up all 3 points we only picked up the 1 point from our opening game

It was by far the worst performance under Jose. We did NOT deserve to win.

However, Crespo scored a wonder goal which brought tears to my eyes. What a finish!!

Anyway .. i hope this is all just 1st game rusted performance and the players get going with Arsenal

not to sure why you bought SWP he is not even needed an you where really ripped off 21 million hes worth half of that price like Robben was.

How much did Robben cost? 11-12 mill? Robben is a much better player than SWP he only looked class because of the sh*t around him at City, Im not saying hes a bad player cause hes is excellent, I just dont think he will suit Chelsea for some reason, cant put my finger on it though yet, maybe I will be proven wrong as its early days.

Robben might have had a purple patch last season, First year in the epl what happens if he looks :censored:

this season i really don't think he is as good as people make out.

They're very lucky to get 3 points against Wigan, and by looking 0,5 billion $ Abramovich has spent it's a laugh.

Robben is class no doubt. On his day is is probably the best left winger in the world. Easily the best in the EPL.

What I cant understand is how you doubt SWP's ability? Its funny how you judge people, you say Lampard is a great player because he has great players aound him and SWP isnt a great player because he has shi.t players around him!

The truth is that they are both great players. Since we are talking about SWP ill stick to that.

SWP is arguably the hottest talent in English football after Rooney. SWP has scored 'solo'(and by solo I mean he gets the ball at the half way line and creates a goal on his own out of nothing against TOP sides) goals against the likes of Manu, Liverpool, ARsenal, Spurs and a lot of other Prem sides. He is a top player, he is quick, tricky, tracks back to defend, has a lot of stamina, is young, is English, has a cracker of a shot, has good movement on and off the ball, can read the game and creates chances for others.

IMO he will play a very important role at Chelsea. He will score and create a lot of goals this season. I want to see him play in Europe, because I know for sure his pace will worry European sides and he will rip those slow Italians apart.

SWP is the future of England, make no mistake about it.
