Actually, Henchoz only gave his opinion that Gerrard is staying.

It was a statement of opinion, not of fact.

There are very few facts obvious at this stage:

1. Chelsea (both Mourinho and Kenyon) have said they'd welcome Gerrard to Stamford "if a deal is possible".
2. Rick Parry has told a number of newspapers a couple of weeks ago (end of May) that Steven Gerrard was unhappy after last season and Liverpool could not stop Gerrard leaving if Gerrard really wanted to go.
3. Benetiz meet with Liverpool's England players in Portugal 10 days ago.

I think they are the only facts that are not in dispute. There are plenty of rumours and statements of opinions, and while those rumours may be true, we won't know what will happen until Gerrard returns and makes a statement.

It's good for football that Chelski millions can't buy anyone.Let's hope they suffer next season and the russian quits and buys Henley Rowing Club and enters a cruise liner in their annual Regatta, because he thinks money talks.

Chelsea are creating one side for the premiership and one for the CL, that is their goal in buying all these players.  :)

I was at the scarecrow festival today and there was a group of 3 scarecrows standing together. They were supposed to be Martin,Davis and Sinatra but they looked suspiciously like the other "Rat pack",Mourinho,Kenyon and Abramovic.
