Looks like he's started packing his bags. His departure to be confirmed this week. Good good, more money for Aspas' and Atsu's. And don't forget lorries.

More than worth the money, at that salary he's a steal. West ham might chew our hand off at that.

he obviously does not want to go to westham if that 100k story is true.
he said he wants to stay here and prove himself but the club treat the lad like he has the plague so he doesnt owe us any favours.
fenway have a choice and thats accept a deal with a club that he's willing to join or loan him out again and tear up his contract next year.
the people responsible for this mess are the idiots running this club and i think fair play to carroll if he's playing hardball

He should be able to get a mortgage in London for that kind of income.

If West Ham willing to pay that amount per week then good luck to him. I am just sorry it didn't work out for him at LFC. I think it could have but BR is so hell bent on a certain style of play (that I don't mind) that once he took over the writing was always on the wall.

i agree with RTID, he`s just trying to price himself out of the move to west ham.
i dont know why we just dont take it on the chin and sell him back to newcastle, thats were he obviously wants to go.
if we have got no intentions of using him just sell him before we have another aquilani type situation on our hands.

it might just be worth waiting to see what West Ham and Carroll can strike up first before losing him for peanuts.

After all, if he did want to price himself out of a move, he would have demanded something even more ridiculous or would have simply stated he has no interest whatsoever in joining WH. I believe money will sway this lad, hopefully WH can do us a favour. Fingers crossed.

Couldn't sell him to those kunts at Newcastle after the way their pric.k of a CEO behaved. We would be an even bigger laughing stock than we are now regarding big Andy !!!!!

Err Dalglish and Commolli were responsible for the disgraceful price tag that was paid on Carroll.  ???

They are both no longer here so I don't know what you actually mean?

I think the owners have every right to try to soften the blow by getting the most for him.

Not their fault he is having sulk because he doesn't want to play at West Ham.

if true this is an all time low, source: http://www.cheshire-today.co.uk/16563/l ... -transfer/

Liverpool FC’s Carroll could earn £14 million from transfer

Liverpool striker Andy Carroll could pocket the  bulk of the £15 million transfer fee on offer if he signs for West Ham.
The player, who is expected to sign his new contract shortly at Upton Park shortly, has already seen his agents negotiate an uplift in his wages from a reported £80,000 a week to just short of £100,000 , but a much bigger pay day is in the offing.

The player still has just over three years left on a contract he signed just over two years ago and as he did not ask for a transfer is entitled to be paid up in full – if the figure of £80,000 is correct, and there is no cancellation clause then that amounts to  an eye- watering £12.4 million.

In addition, his agents will ensure that he recieves a portion of the £15 million transfer fee. In practice this means at least 10 per cent. The two figures, if paid, would mean that virtually all the transfer funds Liverpool receive would be paid to the player.

Generally, the selling club and player come to agreement over the amount of money that will be paid to the player to cancel the contract – usually around a third of the sum due – but in the case of Carroll the club are entering new territory; it is virtually unheard of for a club to ditch a marque signing with such a long period outstanding on his contract.
