did you watch the episode?  How was his Canary accent?

Do you think that they chose Tenerife because of the crash and how Lost is about a plane crash?

I like this, found it on another forum

Lost...it's all about Man Utd

Why Lost is actually about Man U

• Ferguson is Jacob (hence his hatred of the man in black, who may appear different each week but is the same Jacob-nemesis deep down regardless of appearance)
• Which of course means Jacob is actually the true (Red) Devil
• It’s not about time travel but about extra time travel, and the island exists only where time has been stretched beyond natural boundaries…so the island, in fact, is Old Trafford
• The story line that has gone quiet and everyone’s forgotten about? The Djemba Djemba Initiative…
• Richard, he lives forever, appears to wear eyeliner and is unnaturally hirsute…that would be Mr Giggs, surely
• The oddball Scot who nobody really rates - "Desmond" Fletcher
• The man from the East who barely speaks English - "Jin" Park
• The redhead we all thought was dead but reappears every now and again – Scholes
• The bald bloke who insists everything's fine … Sir Bobby "Locke" Charlton
• Everyone hates him, he's rarely seen but is really running the show… "Whitmore" Glazier

And the Others…

• The character who everyone (including himself) thought was going to be the mastermind but turns out to be an inadequate puppet as greater forces take control – Ben(itez)
• The mad French person who sees things no-one else does, talks nonsense, and may (or may not) be dead – Wenger
• The mysterious big bear that nobody talks about but has still to be explained – Ancelotti
• The crazy professor who eventually fails and dies – Martin O’Neill
• The pilot who keeps crashing to earth - Mancini

That wasn't Canary accent, that's the accent of an english speaking man with south american fathers, a bit like Hurley, but less evident.

I have no idea why the chose Tenerife. I'm Lost in this season too.

Is this sh!t still on?

I heard the writers or whoever for this show had the rights to produce Stephen Kings The Dark Tower film. Probably a good choice to stick with this series instead.

Theyre running outa time for all these answers , it will be over in 6 weeks .
The whole Widmore thing bugs me the most, how he can travel back and fro the island , and where has Jacks old man disappeared to?
What was all that crack with Walt, and his special powers?
And how the fk did Locke know it was gonna rain lol

I know, right. I get the feeling it's going to be the biggest anti-climatic ending to a show, ever. So much so, that people will hurl abuse at the TV (some may put their heads through it) and render the show the biggest load of bollox ever. I mean, I could write a story and not give away the plot to it until the last, thus keeping the suspense, but come on! It'll probably end up like a episode of Scooby Doo FFS, where the mystery is all revealed in about 20 seconds at the end. There is a lot to answer for, like the time travel lark, the Hatch, why the Island was under water at the start of the last series, all that sh*te. I sort of sussed out the whole Black Smoke Monster thing half way through the previous season, now I'm just waiting on the revalation that the Island is Atlantis, or just one of the names given to it, or some sh*te like that.

He was born in the US to Cuban and Catalan parents, but then lived for some of his childhood in a British school in Venezuela.

Sounds like a recipe for a strange spanish accent.

Do the real Canaries sound very distinct?

Funny you should say that Scooby doo thing Emerald, you might be right, just heard the final 30 minutes of the finale is the big thing.
They are answering questions but at the same time creating more, like now we know about Jacob and his UN-NAMED brother , but who was that fake mother and where did she come from ....and why did she prefer one son over the other, I cant wait til its over to be honest, i think Atlantis (or a piece of it )is the most likely answer , its the most famous island and had magical powers to move and hide etc
Then again...lol

i don't think its going to turn out to be specifically atlantis, or specifically hell, or specifically purgatory or any of these other things. there are plenty of strong references to them but i think that these are just a part of the building of the story, of the imaginary world in which this whole saga plays out. i'm really enjoying these last episodes though, the way that lots of the questions and mysteries are just being casually revealed without making a big song and dance about them, like the mist slowly clearing from the windscreen on a winter's morning. i'm not even expecting any big twists but i am expecting a few surprises, and of course this being Lost there will be more questions raised until the very last minute.

i think, though, that when we look back after it has all finished we'll be remembering it as one of the most epic, enjoyable, maddening, captivating and spectacularly preposterous things we've ever had the pleasure to dedicate a few years of our lives to on the telly.

Completely agree Andy.

For me, Lost is the best tv series I've ever watched. Very, very clever and the only tv I've ever watched we're you need a website to help tie it all together.

Finishing very strongly.

Some answers are flowing through finally but still many more left. I wonder why they don't tell us what is "smokeys" name. His mother must be out of space who came with the light. She probably brought it to earth so others from "out of space" can't find it. So she protects it on earth from the earthlings and aliens. :-D  She probably new one day her time will be up so had to choose a successor. Same as what jacob has been going with jack and the other candidates.
