You actually dont know the reasons for me leaving.

So stop the sly digs Sabre.

EDITED THE REST DUE TO BRUCIE BEING SO SENSITIVE. IN FEAR THAT HE'LL GO RUNNING TO THE MODS AGAIN.

I see you want this thread locked and you have put the machinery on to get it locked. But before that you'll read what I have to say to you.

You edited that I'm a Egoistical príck and instead of that you tell me that you edit it otherwise I'll run to the mods.

Well, proving wrong a known liar is easy. With who I have problems here in this thread and usually? Bamaga Man, The Rock, and only a few times, S@int. I used to have problems with Peewee, but him and I learned to not fall in petty discussions the last months, regardless of the opinion he may have of me.

How many cards have they? well they used to have one, yours, but since your account deletion it was removed.

In the other hand, we have Lando with cards, Kazza with cards, Emerald with cards, Stu with cards, so, who's actually running to the mods?  :;): not me that's for sure. I use the report button for spammers regularly. There has to be a very nasty post so that I report it, and I haven't done so in this thread. The last post I reported was one calling Rafa a bástárd, and I didn't ask a card, I just asked the poster edited that by a mod's request.

So your first attempt of a dig is proved wrong.

You tell me that I don't know the reasons that you left. But the one who you agree often, told us this

I am not sure exactly why Bamaga man decided to cancel his account, but I do know he was a good poster and will be missed. I also know that a couple of long standing posters on here should be regretting their actions, but I sincerely doubt that they will. Where there is no sense there is no feeling, so f.uck them too.

The classic drama queen that says I'm off using his matey, while he tries to say some long standing members are bad. This internet partnerships are as old as the internet. Feeble minded posters that need a retinue of posters saying how right they are and flaming their common disliked posters. Classic.

As much as we're "fellow" Alonso lovers, I never opened a new thread to question a card of Lando and I never told him to come back blaming other posters when he's off. It's way too childish and pathetic.

Mind you, that won't work with me. I've dealt with other feeble minded posters before, and more subtle and clever to do that stuff. Normally the people that do this have as main priority to forge a good reputation. And that's normally their weak point too.

It's interesting that it's not the first time this happens, a year and half ago S@int also left the forum unhappy, and who was the one to say that's unfair? yes, you get it right, it was you.

You should stop agreeing all he says, all his jokes, because the more you do it, the more evident it is. It's as evident as my Alonso bias, there are no exceptions.

As for your last attempt of a dig, the one saying I want to be considered like bigmick or a grandfather, or something, that's a product of your dull imagination. I come here to learn and I don't want to be even as good as the 31st best poster, whoever that is, and however you make that ranking.

I'll tell you once again, if you treat me with respect, I'll treat you with respect. If you laugh your mate's insults, you'll have to hear my answer.

And now an answer to Bigmick related to his dogma thread. He mentioned several posters in it, not me, but the topics which he touched are relevant to ongoing discussions like this one.

He mentions people need to admit when they're wrong. He's right, we're all wrong sometimes and myself the first one.

He mentions aswell the danger of dogmas. Myself, I hate dogmas, so I fully agree that aswell. But let's go deeper.

We have that word in Spanish too, it comes from the greek, and it means a belief that it's assumed as a truth.

So when someone asks me to believe something as a truth unconditionally, I don't usually do that. I can't accept as a dogma that rotation doesn't work nor is the KEY factor to explain why we didn't challenge in the past. I can't accept it as a dogma, but I can accept it as a respectable opinion, needless to say.

Is that because I won't accept I'm wrong? No, I just accept I'm wrong when I'm sure of it. Note that, I'm foreign, I hear different pundits, I hear Toshack every week talking about the team, I'm used to other things, so I naturally have an "alien" approach to things. But as strange as they are my views, I don't want to make them a dogma. I don't pretend I was right all along. I just want to be told why I'm wrong and discuss on a player. I want the people disagree with me. Just in case.

For instance, when Alonso was told he bossed the midfield alongside Mascherano, he dismissed that claiming saying the key was Kuyt going lower. When I see the impact of Riera and Keane, I also see that their game help Alonso. Especially when Alonso complained last season in a local radio of Babel's decissions. For me, much of the credit of Xabi playing well, is thanks to his team mates. Of course he also is better because right now he's not recovering from injury. But should I ignore Alonso's words on Kuyt? Should I ignore Toshack's opinion? Should I ignore my own thoughts when I see the matches?

I'm ready to be told I'm wrong. I'm ready to be told I know nothing of association football. But I won't buy dogmas that I disagree. Alonso has improved yes, but thanks to his team mates, thanks to he hasn't problems with injuries, and thanks to a slight improvement of form. That's my opinion. If I have to accept that Alonso has been cráp for 18 months with no further explanation, then that's the very definition of dogma.

i dont see anything wrong with Sabre ''running to the mods'' if any post is out of line.
i dont think any ranking can be created for this forum and if one is created it will be due to bias and not credibility.
i do think the Saint and Sabre are good posters and shouldnt have to resort to petty name calling or arguments to get their points across cause im sure you guys are better then that. like i said before, you're a couple who would probably argue over the color of the wall :D

le_id=353914&in_page_id=43

Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso has revealed he would still be tempted by a move to Juventus even though the Italian club turned him down over the summer.

The Spain international came close to joining to the Turin giants during the transfer window but ended up staying in the Premier League.

'To be honest, for my part, the attraction (to Juventus) has remained intact,' said Alonso in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

Juve instead signed Christian Poulsen from Sevilla, with Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri revealing last week he believed Alonso was simply too slow to play in the Bianconeri midfield.

The 26-year-old, who helped Spain win Euro 2008, was not too disheartened by Juve's decision though.

'One thing I can say is that I personally appreciated the honesty of the club executives,' said Alonso.

'They told me their tactics on the pitch were different and that is why they chose Poulsen and not me.

'These are things that happen in football and it's fine. I could have gone but I didn't because, in the end, they chose someone else.

'Juventus are Juventus, the most prestigious club in Italy, but you cannot be disappointed when you play for Liverpool.'

Hmmm. Does anyone think the Juve move could still happen down the line? Like if they came in with a proper bid for Alonso, he would try and make the move happen?

I have to agree S@int is a good poster, and despite this glitch in our favourite thread, I didn't have major problems disagreeing with him in the last months.

Of course that's irrelevant becuse I'm a joke, but :D, it's true. Most of the time I don't have problems with his opinions or articles, au contraire.

Yes, I do.

Whatever the reasons Rafa had to sell Alonso, they were probably well thought. For instance he may find more proper Barry's game for this team, without that meaning he thinks Alonso is cráp.

I wouldn't be surprised if Alonso left the next summer. Personally, I'd preffer him to stay, even as a sub. Because I think a team like Liverpool needs a great starting eleven yes, but also a bench in which you look at it and you find Alonso, not Plessis.

But I don't know if our economy will allow us that luxury.

I think he's been great this season, and was badly missed last year when he suffered a series of lengthy injuries. There's this great myth about his gradual decline, but I think it's a load of nonsense if I'm honest.

In fact, when it comes to Xabi, I think we're a little spoilt. The good he does is rarely appreciated - statistically he runs further and makes more tackles than any other player (Mascherano aside) and is consistently our best passer of the ball.

If Ranieri thinks he is too slow then why were they interested in the player in the first place?
