Taxi for Torres - judas fecks off to chelsea

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Well, Rafa did try to press, reminding Del Bosque Torres has been injured 5 times in the spanish squad and reminding we have 3 important matches.

And that's all our manager can do, because here nobody has Fergusonesque powers to retrieve players from the national squad. If the Federation docs say he stays, he stays. And the federation docs have said that there still exists the possibility of playing against Bosnia.

The good news, is that it's very unlikely Torres will be ready for the game against Bosnia, but it's pretty likely he's ready for the next league game.

He didn't do much of the diving/moaning antics his first season here but since last season and into this one, he's increasingly got worse.

Isn't this a bit rich of a comment after a certain player we had?

Even though we lost, Torres scored a fantastic goal today, just :censored: unbelievable. He didn't get the service, the passes weren't enough, and then BAM 20 yards half volley into the net, unbelievable.

I love this guy I really do, but I fear he might up and off if we keep this up. I know he loves us but is that enough?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

If Rafa goes, it will be easier that Torres too...He has always said that was Rafa who convinced him to join to Liverpool, and all that stuff.

We will lose him if we don't bring in players of similar quality.

They are saying in the Times that Torres is close to needing surgery for a hernia. It's a great shame for him and us of course if he does, but given that we sold Keane almost a year ago is it bad luck or bad planning that we have nobody else should it come to that? In football unfortunately once you've made your bed fate almost always conspires to ensure you have to lie in it.

Idiotic statement as it's only purpose is to antagonise. If we still had Keane he still would not be able to score. Would still rather have Ngog because he scores more. Yes Mick, Raffa fecked up because he should have known Torres would get injured a year later  :no

It is so clear that many things have happened behind the scenes that have "pulled the rug" from under Raffa yet you still insist on spouting this sh!t even when given proof. If the truth hit you on the head you still would not get it.

EDIT: Keane was sh1t before we bought him (you know when you said"you know Keane would be a great signing for us"), was sh1t while he was with us and he in still :censored:. I do not think that anyone here thinks we made a mistake that we got rid of him after only six months except you, in fact after we sold him we went on to play the best football we have in years even though you were preaching doom'n gloom (remember).

If he has an inguinal hernia then he needs surgery. They don't heal and only get worse. If it's true that he has one then I'm astounded that the medical staff haven't put him in for surgery immediately as it will only get worse.

On the other hand he probably won't have to wait 6 months for an op on it like I did on the NHS

??? If you think that N'Gog is a better player than Keane then I aren't going to argue with you. It's absolutely pointless, so we'll leave that one.

Even odder than that, is your attempt at sarcasm where you imply that Rafa couldn't have known Torres would get injured "a year later". I aren't going to argue about that one either, because it's pointless.

Your last paragraph is hard to argue with because I'm not sure I know what you are saying. It appears that you are implying that I am the only person who thinks it might have been a mistake to get rid of him in the way we did, without having a replacement.

You truly are devoid of any semblance of a clue.
