PSYCHOVILLE - from the British Comedy Guide

Psychoville is a dark character comedy mystery in which five different characters are strangely linked.

The main characters are: Mr Jelly, an embittered one-handed clown who makes balloon animals with his hook; Joy, a desperately misguided midwife; Robert, a lovestruck telekinetic dwarf; Mr Lomax, a blind avaricious collector; and David Sowerbutts, a serial-killer-obsessed man-child. All five are at first seemingly unconnected, but they share at least one thing in common... despite having different backgrounds, different interests, and coming from different parts of the country, they have each been sent an anonymous, black-edged card marked with the words: "I know what you did..."

As the episodes progress, we start to learn more about the background of the main characters - it seems they are all connected by one place: Ravenhill Hospital.

Anybody seen this and is it any good ?

Underbelly - Season 1

Awesome. Based on actual events in Melbourne from 1995-2004. Gangland war.

Fairly well acted and very gritty. Very enjoyable series.

Starting season 2 now, I've heard this one is based in Sydney.

I highly reccomend it.

Flight of the Conchords

In it's second season already , one of those shows that takes time to grow on you but once you get it, it's f'uckin hilarious. The musical p'iss takes are genius.

they had a whole episode making fun of aussies, which was hilarious, and I am sure would have been even funnier if I was more familiar with Aussie culture

Watched it last night, not sure what I expected (maybe more laughs) but it seemed "slow". Not sure whether this new partner for Ari is a plus, just interferes with the Ari/Lloyd dynamic.

Anyone seen Gladiator Days? It's a documentary about this guy who killed someone in prison. I watched it the other day and noticed it is uploaded to Google video so you can just watch it there.

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=5749037562192962462

Warning: This isn't a normal prison documentary. It's very grim, graphic and there is an actual murder scene there to where the guy gets stabbed something like 100 times.
