The sound of distant gunfire has subsided. People are emerging forom the shadows, rubbing dust from their eyes. Though they are shellshocked and delerious, you can hear them mumbling "where the feck has GYBS gone?, is it safe yet"?

Shares in AK47 have gone through the floor as they have mirrored the decline in bullet sales. But while they rejoice in the peace, are there one or two who secretly long to be asked "but how do you know it's Friday? Let's not forget that it'll be Saturday down under in about 41/2 hours, time is not a constant, lets not jump to any conclusions"?

I'm missing him already. I thought I'd start a poll. What do you think of GYBS leaving even temporarily?

It must have been from when he posted the link up about SOS.
Tbh that done my head in and it seemed to me like an excuse to have a go at them - as he has constantly been saying....what can they actually do to help the situtation etc etc etc.

The football posts in general i dont mind, i agree on certain things and not on others.
He will never let you have the last word though and reminds me of me mum in that respect

  I'm not sure I've ever "guffawed" (or however you spell it), I'm not actually sure what it is. They tend to use it when describing posh people. Blokes in jodphurs chasing a fox on horseback "guffaw" apparantly, whereas coalminers do more of the riproarious laughter (and I'm not sure what that is either).

I will say that for GYBS though, he force a titter on occasions

This thread makes several of you look like condecending pr*cks

So the guy takes a strong stance on his opinions, does it really need a thread openly mocking him?

He hasn't bombarded anyone with insults, hasn't questioned anyones sexuality (sorry Lando) and hasn't sent a hundred beastility PMs to anybody that I am aware of but the old guard of Newkit clearly have a problem with the guy so we get childish exploits like this. Mick i've been on this forum long enough to knw you are an intelligent, articulate fella so it comes as an even bigger suprise to me that you started it. I know it was probably meant to be a joke but its pretty wide of the mark in my opinion. I've seen plently of less pointless threads than this locked
