I'm just plodding along nicely for now. I'm not confident enough to take it online yet, and certainly not enough to take you on. I haven't found it as exciting as Grid though. Grid's a really fun racer, but the tracks and cars are a bit limited in numbers.

I also got RE5 today, cost only €39.99 at Xtravision.

Got the 360 version as it got slightly better graphics than the PS3 version.

Finished MGS4 last night. I know its not everybody's cup of tea but it was absolutely amazing and I loved every minute of it. I still haven't a clue what the whole thing of the Patriots was about, but it sure was fun!

I've also been playing Killzone 2 but so far I have to say I'm not that impressed. Sure, its graphically and technically amazing, but so far its only so so and the story is utterly uninteresting and the controls are simply not up to scratch.

I've also been playing Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and that is a hugely underrated game. If you like Tomb Raider then you'll love Drake. Its got much better gameplay, particularly the shooting, which plays very close to Gears of War. The platforming is much better than Tomb Raider and you don't suffer from the frustrating instand deaths of Lara Croft just because you misjudged a jump by a tiny amount.

Wow, thirty quid for a brand new game?

Game prices are steadily going down these days. I bought Prince of Persia two weeks after it was released for €25.

Yeah £29.99 i was surprised too but not shocked they had sold out.Xtra vision is pretty decent on price usually thats where i would go.I cant understand how GAME is still open and doing business, they are robbing feckers.i bet its at least £40 there!

Just started playing it..what i will say is that Sheva is doing my head in..shes stuck up my @rse and she stole the first green herb, wee biatch..but its OK cause shes fit lol,im not sure if i can use her stuff yet?
Graphics are superb and its starting to get a little creepy! :D

Well guys, getting paid on Friday, selling one of my 360's for £80 and putting it towards a PS3, I think their are enough games that interest me with Killzone 2, Motorstorm 2, Little Big Planet, SOCOM, etc

I didnt wanna pay more than £250 and Blockbuster have used 40gb ones for £229 so sounds good to me.

Whats everyones PSN tags? :;):

Resident Evil 5 rocks....until the end that is. When you fight wesker I was so dissapointed. I wondered as the game went on which way they would go with him as a boss fight and very disappointed in the final battle. They clearly ran out of ideas on where to go with him. Other than that though the rest of the game is brilliant.

Also played to death Dawn of War 2. Campaign is good until you get to the midway point then it just gets repetitive as your defending shrine after shrine after foundry after shrine. Still a good game though and multi player is quicker and better.

Or am I just getting older and more cynical? :D

Res Evil 5 is fantastic, but its miles different for me!Graphics are superb, the real time scenes are  joy to watch.Im about half way through and im loving it but its more action and shoot em up than all the other ones. Its not as scary and theres no tension in it.
Still a great game, but its changed too much for me.Sow zombies with no guns are better than zombies with crossbows and petrol bombs for the creepy factor!

Really disappointed with Res 5  :(  No tension is right and to me thats what this game was all about.
Ive got to the last level with Wesker and kept running out of ammunition -im not even gonna bother lol

Streetfighter is great, well worth the money for a good bash up but have plasters ready for your thumb  :shifty

Got a WII and a 360 . Play the wii a lot with mates and g/f , the olympics is great fun as is the skiing and even better when drunk . Also got star wars and lightsabres with it and that is a right laugh . Dont play the 360 much only for the odd game of pro evo and COD
